I’m happy to announce that Kick Start Mobile has just launched a Golf and Tennis Cell! Both applications feature real-time scoring, complete tournament schedules, news, player statistics and rankings. If you’re a PGA Golf fan or Professional Tennis lover, be sure to check them out! While the Holidays are usually a time for rest, everyone here at camp KSM has been doing quite the opposite. We have been working around the clock on some really fun and interesting projects. We are excited to announce that Cellular South users will be able to download the application through the BREW shop on their phone and start using the amazing HouseFront service next week. The HouseFront BREW application gives users access to information on over 100 million homes in the U.S. no matter where they are! You can get estimated property values, sales histories, satellite property images, comparable properties, and more! And the information is a snap to get. All you have to do is enter an address, person’s name, or use the one-click GPS (on supported phones) function to get get a wealth of real estate information on your phone, in seconds. And we’re not about to slow down! In fact, we’re just getting started! Where to begin? I suppose I should start with the HouseFront Cell. It was launched mid-September on Alltel’s Celltop platform, and allows users to search for property values by address or a person’s name. This is a very useful tool for real estate agents and a fun source of information for the casual user. Also keep an eye out for the full version of this application for the BREW platform, HouseFront BREW adds exciting new features like satellite images of the properties you’re searching for, use GPS to locate properties near you, and tag properties to receive updates about them pushed right to your phone! Look for it on Alltel, nTelos, and CellSouth in December! Next we have Celeb Casa Cell. This application, launched in mid-October (also on Alltel’s Celltop platform), keeps you ‘in the know’ when it comes to celebrity gossip. It provides updates every 20 minutes using feeds from Perez Hilton and The Superficial, so you’ll always be up-to-date on celebrity goings-on. Celeb Casa also allows you to browse through a categorized list of celebrities and view information about their properties (how much their home is worth, how many square feet it is, and more). A must for any celebrity gossip fan! Finally, there’s the Hockey Cell. Just launched on Tuesday (11/13), this application gives the user access to real-time hockey scores, standings, schedules, and NHL news. Track your favorite team through the regular season and playoffs with Hockey Cell, and never miss a goal! Well, that’s it for now. Expect to see more product launch updates in the (very) near future. We started Kick Start Mobile a few months ago (5 to be exact) and up until now our corporate website consisted of nothing more than a brief paragraph of copy and a contact form. For those of you who are returning visitors, we apologize for the lack of content and information. It’s been a busy past couple of months, but we have finally managed to get this sucker rolling! This site shall serve as hub to broadcast our portfolio of mobile applications, general information about our services, available job positions and KSM news on the world of mobile and pretty much anything else we feel like jabbering about. We are a mobile software development company, but we really don’t want a typical mobile software developer site. With that being said, here are a few things we promise never to do: – We will never use stock photos of happy people holding mobile phones that have magical things flying out of the screen in our masthead – We will never… well I guess that’s all I can really think of that bothers me about mobile software developer websites at the moment.
